Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Release Date Leak - April or May 2026? TT Games News (2026)

Is the Bat-Signal about to shine again? Rumors are swirling about the release date of Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, and fans are on the edge of their seats!

Updated: December 8, 2025, at 10:46 a.m.

According to reports, TT Games' highly anticipated Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight might be hitting shelves sometime between "mid to late" April or possibly May of 2026. This intriguing information comes from the X/Twitter account Lego Games News, specifically from user @zayinpriv. They stated, "The target is mid to late April but since gta got delayed it could be May (i think May)."

But here's where it gets interesting: the leaker also hinted that TT Games is already working on a new game, described as being in its "early works." This new project is reportedly "similar" to Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. @zayinpriv suggested that, given the similarities, we shouldn't expect another four-year wait for a new TT Games release.

Important Note: As of now, TT Games hasn't officially confirmed the release date, so it's wise to approach this with a healthy dose of skepticism.

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was initially unveiled at Gamescom Opening Night Live in 2025. The game promises an open-world Gotham, allowing players to step into the shoes of a young Bruce Wayne as he hones his skills with The League of Shadows. Players can look forward to teaming up with iconic characters like Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl. Furthermore, the game will feature a variety of Batmobiles and Batcycles for players to control, enabling them to grapple, glide, and drive through the sprawling Gotham City.

And this is the part most people miss... Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will feature only seven playable characters. This has sparked considerable debate among fans.

What do you think about the potential release window? Do you believe the game will launch in April or May? And what are your thoughts on the limited number of playable characters? Share your opinions in the comments below!
