Green's Green Triumphs in Singapore as Maguire Fades

Australia's Hannah Green claimed a one-shot victory at the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore, while Leona Maguire had to settle for a tie for 41st place. Maguire's performance took a turn for the worse on Sunday, as she carded a three-over 75, her worst round at the tournament.

This left her on level par after four rounds at the Sentosa Golf Club course. In contrast, Green's final-round 69 secured her a 14-under total, giving her a one-shot lead over the USA's Auston Kim, who finished with a five-under 67.

The joint overnight leaders, Angel Yin, Min-Jee Lee, and Pauline Bouchard, finished in a tie for third place on 11 under, while Hae-Ran Ryu took sole possession of sixth place on 10 under.
